Recruiting in Action Sports, with Carole Diger

This podcast is an interview with someone who has become an expert on the qualities…and flaws of professionals from in the Action Sports industry. Since creating and co-founding Aspom in 2010, Carole Diger-Quiring has conducted thousands of interviews of professionals looking to join or evolve within the Action Sports industry.

The employment platform quickly became a go-to for candidates and employers alike. As a head hunter, Carole specialises in executive profiles within the European Lifestyle and Sports industries.

But before turning towards Human resources, Carole first spent 20 years in Action Sports, namely helping create Rusty Europe in 1991, then becoming their Operations and Finance director (HR, Logistics, IT…) before taking on the same position at O’Neill Europe. 

In addition to her role at Aspom, Carole is also the General Manager of the HR & training branch of Sogeca. She has also added coaching to her key skills, in order to help companies maximise their organisation and structure. 

This episode is a fascinating ride that tells the back story of some of the key brands in Action Sports. It is also a precious opportunity to get insight into the reality and stakes of the current job market.
